Shopper Profiles

Each shopper on our database has a profile with demographic information and consumer habits. We know their educational level, family income, children, owners/renters, employment, children, pets, etc. We know how often they eat out, stay in hotels, do fast food and many other details. We select the ideal shopper for your visit.

Real Customers

We don't rely on a small number of 'career shoppers'. We know the most valuable feedback is from real customers. We select shoppers to match your customer profile, and assign each shopping visit individually so that you are sure of getting a real customer's opinion.

Scheduling

We don't post jobs on a website for shoppers to grab in a 'first in best dressed' scrum. We know that doesn't get good results.

We select the right shopper for every job, matching demographics to reflect the client's target market. Our Preferred Shopper Program makes sure that our shoppers are the best, so you are sure of a quality shopper and quality results.

Real Time Reporting

Your results are available within 24 hours of the visit. Our shoppers fill out their reports on line, and as soon as they have passed Quality Assurance they are available to you online 24/7. Your results are available on your secure website and you decide which employees have access to what level of information.

Quality Assurance

Every shopper report goes through our QA process before being released. Any internal inconsistencies or missing information is picked up, and any descriptions are checked to make sure that they do not inadvertently offend anyone. This all happens within 24 hours so you get your results within one business day.

Online Queries

We have an online QUERY facility, so that clients can direct any queries direct to Shadow Shopper. Clients can see all queries online, and track what queries are being made and the responses.

Our shoppers are our field staff. We know that if you want people to do a good job you treat them well. So we do. We look after our shoppers:

We pay promptly at the end of every month. No waiting.
We pay well. We do not pay the (pitiful) $4 fees that some of our competitors pay. Our minimum payment is $20 + purchase allowance for any shopping assignment.
We give feedback on every assignment. This lets shoppers know what they did well and how to improve.

Preferred Shopper Program

Every shopper gets graded on every assignment. Good shoppers who do great reports earn Preferred Shopper Points and get priority for assignments. Together with our individually-allocated assignments this ensures top quality shoppers for our clients.
